Qatar Football Association President Meets Palestinian Counterpart

Doha, September 26 (QNA) - President of Qatar Football Association (QFA) HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani met Friday with his Palestinian counterpart Major General Jibril Al Rajoub, who is currently visiting the country. The meeting dealt with issues of joint interest and expanding cooperation between the two sides. QFA also pledged to provide 100,000 medical swabs and 3,000 COVID-19 kits to the Palestinian Football Association to help contain the spread of COVID-19 in Palestine. For his part, Al Rajoub expressed his appreciation for QFA's support, stressing that the Palestinian Football Association is committed to enhancing bilateral cooperation in light of the big experience of QFA to help develop the game in Palestine.
