Qatar Futsal League Kicks Off Wednesday

Doha, February 18 (QNA) - The 2019-2020 Qatar Futsal First Division League kicks off Wednesday with the participation of nine teams: Al Rayyan, Al Arabi, Al Gharafa, Al Wakrah, Al Ahli, Al Khor, Al Kharaitiyat, Al Shahaniya, and Al Markhiya. The league will be held in two halves. The first round will witness four matches, where Al Kharaitiyat take on Al Gharafa, and Al Ahli face Al Wakrah at the federation hall in Al Wakrah, while Al Shahaniya play with Al Khor and Al Rayyan face Al Markhiya at Lusail hall. The futsal first division league matches will be held on Sunday and Wednesday of every week, with the first half ending on March 18, while the league competitions conclude on April 20. Al Rayyan hold the title of the last edition of the championship, while the Al Sailiya won the first edition of the first division futsal league with its new system. (QNA)
