Qatar, Sudan Football Associations Sign Cooperation Agreement

Doha, February 23 (QNA) - Qatar Football Association (QFA) signed on Sunday a cooperation agreement with Sudan Football Association (SFA) aiming at supporting and promoting the game in both countries. The agreement was signed for Qatar Football Association by its Vice President Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Mohannadi, in the presence of QFA Secretary-General Mansour Al Ansari, and for Sudan Football Association by its President Dr. Kamal Shaddad. The agreement comes in line with QFA strategy to develop football and promote its relations with counterpart associations. The agreement focused on cooperation in more than one key area, including technical and professional exchanges, teams and national teams and exchange of experiences, including coaching education and developing young talent, as well as benefiting from the successful and multiple experiences of Qatari football, including the Aspire Academy, Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital, and issues related to sports security and the multiple activities of the Josoor Institute. President of Sudan Football Association Dr. Kamal Shaddad underlined the importance of continued cooperation between the two associations and the development of relations between the two sides, praising the attention paid by HE President of Qatar Football Association Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani to football affairs in both countries. Dr. Shaddad added that the agreement reflect the strong brotherly and historic relations between the two associations, noting that the first outcome of the agreement is the study of developing Khartoum Stadium which hosted the first Africa Cup of Nations.
