Qatar Win GCC 3*3 Basketball Tournament

Manama, February 21 (QNA) - Qatar's 3*3 basketball B team was crowned Saturday as champions for the third consecutive time after defeating Saudi Arabia 21-14. Qatar had won the previous two editions which was held in the UAE and Emirates respectively. The team gave a strong performance throughout the competition and used their experience to their advantage to come out of difficult circumstances. Qatar was participating with two teams, the A and B team. However chances for an all Qatari final were quashed when the two teams met in the semi-final. The B team won that game to reach the final and eventually be crowned winners. (QNA)
