Qatari Shooters Win New Medals at Arab Games

Doha, December 15 (QNA) - Qatari shooters win new medals in shooting competition which was held at Lusail Shooting Complex as part of the 12th Arab Games 2011. Qatar's Bahia al-Hamad claimed gold medal in women's 50 m rifle 3 positions, singles, followed by Qatari Shooter Matra Assiri, who won the silver medal, whereas Kuwaiti Shooter Meryam Arzouki got the bronze medal and came third. The Qatari team, which won the gold medal is placed first followed by the Bahraini, which won the silver medal and the Egyptian team, which got the bronze medal. Qatari men's 25 m center-fire pistol claimed the silver medal and was placed second following the Saudi team, which won the gold medal, while the Bahraini team won the bronze medal and came third.
