Qatar's Swimming Association Head Participates in Executive Office of International Swimming Federation Meeting in Kuwait

Kuwait, December 15 (QNA) - President of Qatar Swimming Association Khaleel Ibrahim Al Jaber participated in a meeting of the Executive Office of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), which was held on the sidelines of the World Men's Junior Water Polo Championships 2019, currently held in the State of Kuwait, and will continue until December 20. At its meeting, the Executive Office approved the qualifying times for the fifteenth world swimming championships in the short course (25 meters), in Abu Dhabi next year 2020, and the nineteenth World Championships in water games in Fukuoka, Japan in 2021. The meeting also presented the latest information on the stages of preparations for the qualifying rounds for the upcoming Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020) and the World Aquatic Championships in Fukuoka 2021. Khaleel Ibrahim Al Jaber, President of Qatar Swimming Association is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Swimming Federation, as well as the Executive Office at the current session 2017-2021.
