QFA Holds Ceremony Honoring National Companies

Doha, February 20 (QNA) - Qatar Football Association (QFA) held a ceremony to honor Qatari national companies and businessmen for their support of the national football team for winning the 2018 AFC Cup in UAE for the first time in its history. During the ceremony, which was attended by HE QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani, and members of the Executive Office of the Association and the players of the national team accompanied by the technical and administrative staff, honored the supporters of the team for their unlimited and continuous efforts to raise the Qatari flag in the presence of all supporters, businessmen and representatives of companies. The Director of Marketing and Communication of QFA Khalid Mubarak Al Kuwari, extended his thanks to all the supporting companies, as well as to the Qatari businessmen who participated in honoring the national team., adding that this undoubtedly demonstrates the confidence of these companies in marketing their brand through this initiative and contributing to the support of all the players of our national team, which will certainly have a positive impact on the Qatari football. Al Kuwari stressed that this support by 9 national bodies is positive and we are heartened by the fact that this achievement includes everyone and everyone is involved, and here comes the role of the important private sector, which we consider to be a key partner of QFA. After the end of the ceremony, everyone was keen to take a group photo with the precious trophy with the presence of all Qatari players of the national team and the technical staff under the leadership of the Spanish Felix Sanchez, and the nine supporting companies.
