QFA Suspends Footballing Activities Until March 29

Doha, March 14 (QNA) - Qatar Football Association announced Saturday that it halted all football matches it organizes starting Sunday to March 29. The association said in a statement that the decision was made following the Qatar Olympic Committee's circular that it will halt all its activities until March 2020. As a result, all football matches in QNB Stars League, HH the Amir Cup, the second division, Qatar Gas league, and Ooredoo Cup will be suspended from March 15 to March 29. The decision comes to complement the state's efforts in taking all the precautionary measures against the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and to ensure the safety of players, staff, and fans.
