QSL Discusses Third Stage of Protocol with Coaches

Doha, July 22 (QNA) - The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held a co-ordination meeting, via video conferencing technology. At the beginning of the meeting, Executive Director of Competition and Football Development at the QSL Ahmed Khellil Abbassi thanked clubs, players, administrative as well as technical staff and Aspetar for their co-operation during the first and second stages of the protocol, which helped all achieve the common goals before the safe return of league championship. He added that it would not have been possible had it not been for the continued co-operation, co-ordination and commitment for the sake of public interest, and stated that the return of football and league would give hope and optimism for the future. The meeting discussed the third stage, regarding the resumption of competitions, according to the precautionary measures stipulated for match-day operations, after reviewing the recommendations, general guidelines and instructions related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) protocol.
