Talal Al Kaabi: 2022 World Cup Kickoff at Al Bayt Stadium Will be a Milestone for Qatar Football

Doha, July 16 (QNA) - The Executive Director of the National Football Teams Talal Al Kaabi confirmed that the kickoff of the World Cup 2022 at Al Bayt Stadium, one of the most important sporting facilities at the international level, will be a milestone for Qatar football in general, especially that this unique sportive edifice will witness the kickoff match of the World Cup in the Arab region which includes Qatar national football team. Al Kaabi said in a statement today, that this event gives the kickoff of the championship a distinctive flavor and a different experience, especially as Qatar national team enters any match with utmost effort to appear in an honorable image to reflect the extent of interest provided by the officials and those in charge of sports in Qatar. Al Kaabi explained that hosting the World Cup 2022 and the participation of the Qatari national team in this impressive event and the kickoff match in particular will translate the great efforts which contributed to raising the level of Qatar football, especially that everyone now sees the Qatari national team as an Asian champion and a strong competitor. Al Kaabi added that until that day, everyone strive at all levels, from the players to the technical and administrative bodies to loyal fans, to achieve additional goals and gain more experiences that would enhance the position of Qatar national football team.
