World Athletics Championships: Brazier Wins 800M Gold

Doha, October 02 (QNA) - Donavan Brazier of the U.S. won the 800m men's gold medal in the World Athletics Championships in Doha. Brazier won the race in 1:42.34 to break the American record and the championship record. Amel Tuka of Bosnia raced to silver in 1:43.47 and Ferguson Rotich of Kenya gained bronze in a time of 1:43.82. "I just feel on top of the world, this year has been a huge domino effect, everything has been going in my favor from indoors all the way out," Brazier said in remarks to Runner's World. (QNA)
