World Athletics Championships: Great Britain Leads 4*100m Relay Qualifiers

Doha, October 05 (QNA) - Great Britain excelled Friday in the 4*100 relay for men, that was held as part of the World Athletics Championships in Doha. Great Britain led the standings after finishing the race in 37.56 seconds, just 0.09 seconds ahead of the second-placed South African team. Japan came in third place and China were in fourth. They finished the race in 37.78 seconds and 37.79 seconds respectively. The big surprise this year was the failure of Jamaica, holders of the Olympic record in London 2012, to qualify after they came in 11th place. Team USA was also knocked out of the competition after finishing ninth. (QNA)
