Businessmen submit white paper to govt

UDON THANI, Nov 25 (TNA) - Members of the Thai Chamber of Commerce submitted the white paper to Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha through Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak who is responsible for national economic affairs after concluding a seminar in the northeastern province of Udon Thani. Executives said in the white paper that it is necessary to use innovation as a tool in moving businesses and constructive services. They stressed that tourism, digital and agricultural industries need to use innovation to boost quality and production while these industries require competitiveness by forming a group as well as using marketing techniques. Mr. Somkid said during his special address that the government has set the target that Thailand must move forward with innovative technology.The most important thing is an implementation because it could accelerate national economy. The Commerce and the Industry ministries and the Board of Investment have been ordered to revamp their roles and to also provide facilities to businessmen. (TNA)
