Chinese Envoy Visits Joint Production Units In Mazandaran

Sari, Mazandaran province, Jan 6, IRNA – Chinese Ambassador to Iran Yu Hongyang visited several joint Iran-China production units in Qaemshahr, Mazandaran province. The Chinese envoy who is in Mazandaran at the invitation of the provincial Chamber of Commerce toured Fouladin, Heli Khodro and Fish Breeding companies. After visiting the units, he conferred with the heads of the provincial economic institutes and businessmen. Head of the provincial Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Gholamreza Ashariyeh said at a joint meeting of the Chinese ambassador and businessmen that Iran's economic ties with China have increased remarkably in recent years. Given the mineral and agricultural production, bilateral ties can be further promoted, he said. Charcoal is one of the exported items from Mazandaran to China, he said, adding that the province is top producer of flowers, plants and auto parts in Iran. Ashariyeh called on the Chinese envoy to help remove obstacles in the way of trade exchanges between Iranian and Chinese merchants./end
