Expansion of Tehran-Moscow trade ties underlined

Tehran, Sept 16, IRNA – Members of Majlis (Parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission and Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi discussed Tehran-Moscow relations and emphasized on expansion of trade and economic ties between Iran and Russia. Spokesman of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Seyyed Hossein Naqavi said that during his meeting with IR Iran's Ambassador in Moscow, they discussed different aspects of Iran-Russia relations. 'IR Iran's envoy explained about Iran-Russia ties and answered to questions raised by Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission,' Naqavi added. The lawmaker noted that Russia under the leadership of President Vladimir Putin acts as an independent and strong player and this is in line with long-term interests of maintaining peace and security in the region.
