Indian Official: India Needs Iran Energy

Ahvaz, Khuzestan province, Oct 10, IRNA – Head of international affairs office of India Chamber of Commerce and Industry said India needs Iran energy and wants to expand exports to Iran. Anil Agarwal, in a meeting with Governor General of the province, by referring to natural and economic potentials of the province said that Iran and India are now both involved in an economic crisis and by expanding ties with each other they both can witness progress in their economies. He added that Khuzestan has a key role in strengthening relations between Iran and India and continued that there are valuable industries like steel and petrochemical industries as well as important ports in the province, which have important role in promoting economic ties between India and Khuzestan. The Indian official said that India with participation of Iran is to build a silo in Iran. He added that India is ready to cooperate in all agricultural, economic and developmental projects in Khuzestan./end
