Iran Targets Dlrs70b Non-oil Exports This Year

Ghazvin, Oct 4, IRNA – Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and Director of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization Hamid Safdel said on Wednesday that the country has targeted $70b non-oil exports this year. Safdel told the First Seminar on Strategies about Non-Oil Exports that non-oil exports have shown remarkable progress over the past 10 years. He said that $51b exports had been targeted for this year but the volume has been raised to $70 billion due to the existing conditions and the need to stand up against enemies’ economic pressure. He said about $38b foreign trade in the first five months of this year shows ineffectiveness of foreign sanctions./end
