JICA Says Investing $ 6-8m In Iran Each Year

Shahrekord, Oct 28, IRNA – An official with Japan International Cooperation Agency, Kohei Sato, said Monday the agency is investing between 6 and 8 million dollars annually in various projects in Iran. Speaking to IRNA, Sato said that JICA is active in Iran in three different areas: environment, natural disasters and development of domestic industries. JICA cooperates in implementing projects in more than 150 countries across the globe upon their demand, Sato said. He said the cooperation is intended to help the growth of the developing countries./end
