The Netherlands Biggest Importer Of N Sulawesi Commodities

Manado, North Sulawesi, July 31 (ANTARA) - The Netherlands was the biggest importer of North Sulawesi`s commodities, accounting for more than 20 percent of the total exports of the province in the first half of this year. North Sulawesi`s exports to that country were valued at US$129.56 million or 23.18 percent of its total export earning of US$558.87 million in the first six months of the year, the regional industry and trade office said. Head of the industry and trade office Sanny Parengkuan said here on Monday the main export commodities to the Netherlands are crude coconut oil, coconut flour and other coconut-based products. Overall, North Sulawesi`s exports grew 14.6 percent in the fist six months of this year from US$487.5 million in the same period last year.
