Russian premier invites Vietnamese companies to actively invest in Russia

HO CHI MINH CITY, April 7. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev invited Vietnamese companies on Tuesday to participate in Russia’s projects in the Far East as part of creating advanced development territories in the region. "I would like to assure you that the current moment can be a good opportunity for Vietnamese companies exploring the possibility of entering the Russian market," Medvedev said at a meeting with Vietnam’s business circles in Ho Chin Minh City. Russia has recently started implementing projects to create advanced development territories in the Far East to spur the region’s social and economic development. "We’re just creating [advanced development] territories and we have certain approaches to how they can be established and with whom we would like to develop them and generally the economic situation is favorable for making this kind of investments," the Russian premier said. The Russian government will pay special attention to companies from abroad, which are showing interest in Russia’s advanced development territories, Medvedev said. Read more
