Taxes Ministry transfers over AZN 6bn to state budget in 2012

Baku, January 16 (AzerTAc). The state budget from the Taxes Ministry of Azerbaijan made AZN 6,025,366,500 in 2012. According to sources in the Ministry of Taxes, income tax made 37.4% of general receipts, VAT made 24.6%, income tax from individuals made 13.5%, excises made 7.5% and other taxes made 17%.  Non-oil sector ensured tax receipt on the level of AZN 3,286,509,700, which is a 14.5% growth over 2011. As of 1 January 2013, the total number of taxpayers in the country makes 481,710. 72,263 taxpayers passed state registration in 2012. In 2012 89.9% of tax declarations submitted to the Tax Ministry were in an e-form.
