Uzbekistan Festival To Screen Iranian Films

Tashkent, Sept 24, IRNA – Several Iranian films will be screened in The Second Tashkent International Film Forum ‘Golden Guepard’ slated for September 30-October 5. Tashkent International Film Forum ‘Golden Guepard» is an annual competition-based festival of full-length, short and animated films. The film ‘Daughter….Father….Daughter’ directed by Panah-bar-Khoda Rezaei will be screened in the full-length section while ‘Five Short Histories’ directed by Sayfollah Samadiyan and ‘Life Story of Red Pencil’ by Ali Reza Chitaei will be featured in the short film and animation sections respectively. The festival will award the best films in each section and the best director as well as the best actor and actress. Representatives from 45 European, Asian, African and American countries are expected to attend the event. First Tashkent International Film Forum was held in 2011 when the Iranian short film "Burned, Cooked, Raw" by Iranian filmmaker Shahram Mokri won the "Golden Guepard" Award./end
