Foreign Artists Selected Jury Members For Intˈl Fajr Visual Arts Festival

Tehran, Jan 28, IRNA – Seven top artists from Denmark, Brazil, Italy, France, Mexico and Turkey along with several Iranian artists are selected as jury members to judge works in illustration, poster, caricature and photo in the International section of the 6th Fajr Visual Arts Festival, slated for February 3-23. The jury will have the mandate to screen and select top works finding their way to the competition section of the festival. The Photo Section of the International Festival will feature 64 works themed hope and life joy, 147 illustrative works themed family, 54 poster works themed energy, and 132 caricature works themed world’s well-distinguished arts figures and renowned politicians . A timetable has been set to display works of the jury members and hold panel discussions with them. The Festival includes National Section, painting, calligraphy, ornamental arts, ceramic and sculpture; the International Section, includes photography, caricature, poster and illustrations and the Complementary Section will display documentary films and visual arts./end
