Maximum pressure policy to pave way for defeat of Trump in upcoming election: Official

Tehran, August 2, IRNA - Head of the Presidential Office Mahmoud Vaezi said in twitter on Sunday that the policy of maximum pressure against the Iranian nation has failed. Vaezi made the remarks in a Twitter post on Sunday, adding that alongside other wrong policies of Trump the maximum pressure policy will become one of the factors of his failure in the upcoming election. The expansion of sanctions cannot impede Iran's scientific and defense development, he further noted. The youth and scientists will go on making efforts to this end, the official pointed out.
