People continue paying respects to late King

BANGKOK, Sept 24 (TNA) - Tens of thousands of people, many of them travelling from upcountry, continue paying respects to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at Bangkok’s Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall in the Grand Palace on Sunday. People began gathering at Sanam Luang Ground before 4.00 a.m. today while policemen, soldiers and volunteers provided facilities and helped direct heavy traffic around the area. Yesterday, more than 68,000 people braved heavy rain and paid respects before the royal urn. Officials allow people to pay respect to the late King until the end of this month as they have to make preparations for the royal cremation in late October. (TNA)
