President Awards Degrees To 836 Military, police Cadets

Magelang, C. Java, July 12 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono awarded degrees to 836 Indonesian cadets from the air force, the navy, the army and the police at the Military Academy complex here on Thursday morning. Several ministers, as well as senior officers from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the National Police (Polri) attended the Prasetya Perwira ceremony. President Yudhoyono also took on the task of inducting the new officers, who were represented by four cadets from each unit. The induction was based on Presidential Decree No. 39 TNI/2012, dated July 6, 2012. The 836 new officers graduated from the fourth level of the academy. Once sworn in, they held the rank of Second Lieutenant (TNI) and Inspector II (Polri). The officers will be posted across Indonesia.
