Ahmadinejad invites Syrian president to attend NAM summit

TEHRAN, May 26 (MNA) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad invited Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to attend the 16th summit of heads of state and government of the Non-Aligned Movement, which is scheduled to be held in Tehran in late summer. Ahmadinejad’s letter of invitation was delivered to Assad by Minister of Information and Communications Technology Reza Taqipour during his meeting with the Syrian president on Thursday.
