FM Spokesman: Presidential Elections To Be Held In 290 Polling Stations Abroad

Tehran, June 11, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Araqchi said polling for the 11th presidential elections will be held in 290 balloting stations in 96 foreign countries. The presidential elections together with polling for the City Councils will be held on June 14 nationwide in Iran. Talking in a press conference, the spokesman said that 850,000 ballots have been provided for the polling stations abroad. He urged all foreign countries which host Iranian representative offices especially in Europe to provide full security for Iran’s balloting stations. Araqchi called on the European states to stop terrorist groups from disturbing the polling process on June 14./end
