Iran-China Trade Transactions Stood At $31b Last Year: Envoy

Zanjan, Jan 21, IRNA – Chinese Ambassador to Tehran Yu Hongyang said here on Monday that the volume of trade transactions between Tehran and Beijing stood at dlrs 31 billion during the first 10 months of 2013. Yu made the remarks in a meeting with the local businessmen in the northwestern province of Zanjan. He added the figure indicates some 3.5 percent increase compared to the corresponding period in 2012. Yu underlined that the volume of trade transactions between the two countries stood at $36 billion in 2012. He underlined the need for making use of the existing trade potentials in both countries to further boost bilateral trade cooperation./end
