Iran Condemns Bloody Blast In Yemen

Tehran, May 23, IRNA – Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman condemned bloody blast in Yemen on Monday in which hundreds of Yemeni soldiers were killed or injured. According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media department on Tuesday evening, Ramin Mehmanparast said that unfortunately the violent action occurred when people were preparing themselves to celebrate Yemen unity anniversary. He expressed hope that by strengthening civil and independent bodies, tranquility prevails in Yemen and security returns to that country. The spokesman pointed out that Iran has always been close to Yemeni people and supports stability, security, unity and independence of the country./end
