Iranian, Argentine FMs Meet In New York

New York, Sept 28, IRNA -- The foreign ministers of Iran and Argentina during a meeting in New York discussed the bilateral ties and concluded their meeting by issuing a joint statement. Islamic Republic of Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and his Argentine counterpart Hector Timerman met at the UN headquarters. The two foreign ministers announced that they will continue their consultations until the case of 1994 bombing of the Argentine Israeli Mutual Association (AMIA) building is resolved. The announcement was made in a joint statement issued by Foreign Minister Salehi and Foreign Minister Timerman in New York. The case of the AMIA attack which took place in 1994 has remained a mystery after 18 years. About 85 people were killed and more than 200 others wounded in that event./end
