Islamic Revolution Source Of Inspiration For Developing States: Analyst
Islamabad, Feb 5, IRNA -- A Pakistani analyst on Wednesday said that Islamic Revolution of Iran is a source of inspiration for the developing states of the world.
Speaking to IRNA, Saqib Akbar congratulated people and the government of Iran on the 35th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution adding that Iran is an excellent example of resistance.
“Islamic Revolution is a result of a long struggle of the Iranian nationˈ, he said.
He added that Islamic Revolution had changed the international opinion towards the rule of religion.
The Chairman of Albasera Research Institute expressing his views said that Iran is an excellent example of resistance against the western hegemony. He said that West had tried to weaken Islamic Revolution by sanctions and imposing eight year war on Iran but the country successfully defeated all conspiracies.
He added that Iran has paid a heavy price for supporting the rights of Palestinians against the Zionists’ aggression.
Saqib Akbar was of the view that Islamic Revolution gave a system to the Iranian society based on social justice. “Today there is peace all over Iran and nobody can usurp the rights of others,” said the analyst.
He also praised the progress of Iran in all sectors after the Islamic Revolution. He added that Iran is progressing in the fields of medicine, energy, defense, education etc. The intellectual said that Iran has become a precedent for the oppressed nations.
Saqib Akbar said that Islamic Revolution also exposed the real face of imperialist forces. He said that Islamic Revolution showed to the world that those countries which claimed to be the champions of democracy were actually supporters of dictatorships and monarchy.
The analyst said that a true democratic government was established in Iran after the Islamic Revolution. He added that the Islamic Revolution has had positive impacts on the politics of the region as well as the world./end
