NAM Statement To Back Iran N-rights In IAEA Meet

Vienna, March 5, IRNA – The 45th statement issued by the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in support of Iranˈs nuclear rights is to be read out to the IAEA Board of Governors meeting, began Monday in the Austrian capital. The meeting, first one in 2013, is the normal gathering which will review security and nuclear issues as well as questions on the Agencyˈs budget and plans. The Islamic Republic of Iran is the current rotating president of the NAM. The recent report on Iranˈs peaceful nuclear activities was released ten days ago by Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Yukiya Amano. The report was also presented to the IAEA members. Amano, in his new report, has stressed the IAEA commitment to continue talks with Iran on modality. Iran and the IAEA have held their latest talks three weeks ago in Tehran. The two sides have been discussing the modality plan for over a year./end
