Pakistani Politician Warns Against Western Efforts To Weaken Ummah

Islamabad, Oct 28, IRNA -- Senior Pakistani lawmaker and former Interior Minister on Saturday warned that western powers are making all out efforts to destabilize Muslim world. Talking to IRNA Chairman of Qaumi Watan Party, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao said that Muslims must unite to counter anti-Islam conspiracies. The member of National Assembly (MNA) endorsed the remarks of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to Hajj pilgrims that western powers are creating obstacles in the way of the unity of the Islamic Ummah. “The message of the Supreme Leader truly reflects the sentiments of all Muslims,” viewed the parliamentarian. The politician was of the view that definitely all efforts of the aggressive and interfering arrogant powers have been focused on diverting great Islamic movements from their original path. The legislator agreed with the statement of the Supreme Leader that the corrupt agents of America, NATO and Zionism are trying to divert the flood-like movement of Muslim youth and turn them against each other in the name of Islam. “Definitely they are trying to divide the Muslim youth, they are afraid of the unity of Muslims,” he went on to say. Qaumi Watan Party chief added that imperialist forces are promoting false Shia and Sunni phobia. He said that they (West) want to divide Muslims by cheap tricks. The political leader expressing his views said that Syria is being punished for not yielding to American pressure. Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao held US and Zionists responsible for unrest in Syria adding that it is part of a plan to destabilize the Muslim world. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has said that 'With the help of their agents in the region, they create crises in Syria in order to divert the attention of peoples away from important issues of their countries and the dangers that threaten them. “Yes I agree with the Supreme Leader,” said the politician. The political leader said that the season of Hajj is an opportunity to reflect on important issues of the world of Islam./end
