President Ahmadinejad Arrives In Holy City Of Medina

Tehran, Aug 13, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, heading a delegation, arrived in the holy city of Medina, Saudi Arabia, Monday morning. Upon his arrival, President Ahmadinejad was warmly welcomed by several Saudi Arabian high-ranking officials at the Medina airport. The Iranian president is to attend the extraordinary meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to be held in the holy Mecca on August 14-15. President Ahmadinejad is taking part in the event at the official invitation of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz. President Ahmadinejad is accompanied by Supreme Leader's Advisor for International Affairs Ali-Akbar Velayati, President's senior advisor Mojtaba Samareh-Hashemi, Head of Presidential Office Esfandiar Rahim Mashaee, and a number of ministers./end
