President Ahmadinejad To Travel To Turkish City Of Konia

Ankara, Dec 15, IRNA – Turkish media said President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will travel to Turkish city of Konia to attend commemoration ceremony for renowned Persian mystic poet Maulana Jalaloddin Balkhi known as Rumi on Monday. His visit to Konia is upon an invitation of Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who is to attend the ceremony, too. Turkey's Konia Province Tourism and Culture Bureau had already declared that they have officially invited President Ahmadinejad to attend the ceremony. The ceremony has been held for many years and thousands of tourists from all over the world attend it./end
