President Suleiman: We Must Use New Abilities To Defend Lebanon

Beirut, Oct 13, IRNA – Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, by referring to Hezbollah success in sending a drone plane to occupied territories, said that we must use new resistance abilities to defend Lebanon sovereignty. Speaking with media in Beirut on Friday, he said that dispatching a drone plane to occupied territories proves that Lebanon needs to arrange a defense strategy to use resistance ability. Suleiman underlined that constant invasions of the Zionists against Lebanon soil caused our frequent complains against the regime to the UN Security Council, adding that in new situation, the Zionists should end their invasions and in direction to implement of resolution 1701, it should try to maintain peace and security in the region. Also, Lebanese former Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss by referring to Iran made drone operation, said that the plane flew for a long time and this indicated resistance increased ability to stand against Israelis invasions./end
