Rohani Stresses Importance Of Co-op With Ukraine

Tehran, July 8, IRNA - President-elect Hassan Rohani extended a message to the Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovich, calling for expansion of all-out mutual ties. Rohani made the remarks in response to President Yanukovich message of felicitation sent to him on his landslide victory in the June 14 presidential election. He expressed hope that bilateral ties will further develop in all fields based on mutual respect and interest. Rohani won Iranˈs 11th presidential election, marked by high voter turnout, by securing 18,613,329 of a total of 36,704,156 ballots counted. The Interior Ministry put voter turnout at 72.7 percent./end
