Salehi confers with Egyptian counterpart

Cairo, Sept 18, IRNA – Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi conferred with his Egyptian counterpart Mohammed Kamel Amrou here on Tuesday. The two foreign ministers examined issues of mutual interest as well as regional and international developments during the meeting. After the meeting, the Iranian foreign minister visited a major mosque in Cairo and paid tribute to the martyrs of Islam. Salehi arrived here on Monday to take part in a quadripartite meeting of Iran, Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia on Syrian crisis. Salehi is also to meet with Egyptian President Mohammed Mursi.
