Sr. Cleric Hails Gov't For Defending N-rights

Qom, May 2, IRNA – A senior cleric Ayatollah Morteza Moghtadai on Wednesday praised the government for defending Iranˈs legitimate rights enshrined by Non-Proliferation Treaty. Speaking to IRNA, Ayatollah Moghtadai, member of Assembly of Experts termed Iranˈs nuclear achievements as ˈremarkableˈ. Efforts to develop nuclear technology which had started by the former governments, bore fruit in ninth and tenth terms of the government, thanks to perseverance of the nation and government of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He said that the governmentˈs performance about national nuclear program had been placed under the guidance of Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. Referring to anti-Iran campaign by the global arrogance to stop Iranian nuclear program, he called on the nation to remain vigilant against the enemiesˈ plots./end
