Swiss Reporters Reveal British Envoy Lies

Vienna, Dec 4, IRNA – Two Swiss reporters John Cattman and Michael Verase revealed false claims made by British envoy after returning to London. British Ambassador to Tehran Dominic Chilcott, upon his arrival in London, claimed that the Iranian students had violent behavior with diplomats. The two reporters wrote that when students entered the embassy compound, all British diplomats went to a basement there. They wrote in the newspaper St. Galler Tagblatt that the British diplomats were watching students through a TV set. There is no evidence, in the report, about violent behavior of the students with British diplomats. On the claims by British envoy that police force did not try to hinder the protestors, the two Swiss journalists reported that there was a harsh confrontation between police and students inside the embassy compound and that the police force tried to lead students out of the compound./end
