Ts.Elbegdorj starts state visit to Czech Republic

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj and accompanying him delegates arrived Monday in Prague to pay a state visit to the Czech Republic. The President of the Czech Republic Mr Milos Zeman officially welcomed his Mongolian counterpart on the square in front of the Presidential House. Present at this ceremony were Mr Vratislav Mynar, a head of the Czech Presidential Office; Mr Martin Tlapa, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs; Ms Mikhaila Marskova, the Vice Minister of Social Welfare and Labour; and Ms Ivana Grollova, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Mongolia. After the welcoming ceremony, the two Presidents held a tete--a-tete meeting, then will run official talks and call a press conference. The same day, Mr Elbegdorj will receive Mr Milan Stech, the president of the Czech Senate (upper house of parliament), and Mr Bohuslav Sobotka, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic. He will also meet the Mongolians residing in the country.
