Turkish foreign minister meets Albanian, Australian officials

MUNICH (A.A) - February 5, 2012 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met with Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha and Australian Foreign Minister Kevin Michael Rudd within the scope of the 48th Munich Security Conference on Saturday. Officials quoted Albanian Premier Berisha as telling Davutoglu that he would like to thank Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan for their efforts to boost bilateral relations between Turkey and Albania. Berisha said he hoped that the number of Turkish companies in his country would increase, stating that Albania was eager to boost its relations with Turkey in the areas of economy and tourism. Meanwhile, Davutoglu invited Australian Foreign Minister Rudd to Turkey in their meeting. Rudd told Davutoglu that he wanted to visit Turkey and discuss cooperation possibilities between the two countries.
