VIETNAMESE NAT'L ASSEMBLY REPS VISITING

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ These days, a visit is running of leaders of the National Assembly, a legislative body of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The delegation and its head, the vice Chairman of the Assembly Huynh Ngoc Son, were received by M.Enkhbold MP, one of the vice chairmen of the State Great Khural on Wednesday. At the official talks, Mr Enkhbold underlined the visit's great importance in strengthening a cooperation between the two legislatures, and noted that such a high level interaction "is a valuable contribution to the deepening of trust and understanding between the peoples of Mongolia and Vietnam".
In response, Mr Huynh Ngoc Son thanked the Mongolian side for the hospitality and said his delegation included the head of the Standing committee on Security, the deputy head of the Standing committee on Foreign policy, and five military Generals. He expressed a gratitude to Mongolia for supporting Vietnam in times of its National Liberation in 1960’s and for providing favorable environment for Vietnamese citizens to work and study in Mongolia.
M.Enkhbold mentioned that the Intergovernmental Commission’s meeting will run in the second half of 2015 in Ulaanbaatar, and said Mongolia is interested in close cooperation with the ASEAN and is aspired to attend the East Asian Summit and to become a dialogue partner of the ASEAN. Mongolia has become a candidate in the 2023-2024 election for non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, which will run during the 77th General Assembly of the UN in 2022, he said and wished Vietnam’s support for Mongolia.
Present were at the talks Z.Bayanselenge MP, the head of Mongolia-Vietnam parliamentary group, and N.Enkhbold MP.
