Zarif : Agents Behind Attack On Iranian Diplomat Should Be Tried

Tehran, Jan 20, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif has underlined trial of agents behind terrorist attack on Iranian diplomat Abolqassem Assadi. In a phone call, Zarif told his Yemeni counterpart Abu Bakr al-Qirbi that Iranian government insists introducing and trial of agents behind terrorist act on Iranian diplomat in the first possible chance and keeps waiting freedom and clarification of the fate of kidnapped Iranian diplomat Nour Ahmad Nikbakht. The Yemeni minister in turn deplored the incident and condoled Zarif and bereaved family of martyr Assadi on the tragic event. Al-Qirbi said relations with Iran is of high importance for Yemen and necessary measures will be taken to upgrade safety of Iranian embassy and diplomats in Yemen./end
