Zarif Back Home From Regional Tour

Tehran, Aug 29, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Tehran late on Friday from his visit to Russia. Zarif ended his regional trip and departed Moscow for Tehran today evening. He arrived in Moscow early Friday morning for talks with the Russian officials. Foreign minister conferred with his counterpart Sergei Lavrov on latest regional and international developments. Zarif and Lavrov stressed increase of regional cooperation against extremism and terrorism in a joint press conference held in Moscow. Zarif had on Thursday morning left Tehran for Ankara to attend the swearing-in ceremony of President-Elect Recep Tayyip Erdogan, after which he left for Moscow./end
