Iran Embassy To Release Details On Presence Of Iranian Football Fans In World Cup 2014 In Brazil

Tehran, Jan 1, IRNA – Iranian citizens who are interested to travel to Brazil for watching the matches at World Cup 2014 in Brazil will enjoy information to be released by Iranian Embassy and the Foreign Ministry in this regard, according to Iranian ambassador to Brasilia. Mohammad-Ali Qanezadeh told IRNA that FIFA recognizes Iranˈs Football Federation and is only answerable to it. The Foreign Ministry naturally has the authority over the issue, but the Football Federation has its own duties, the ambassador said. Iranˈs national football team secured qualification for World Cup 2014 as a representative of Asia in the international tournament due to be held in Brazil.
