Azerbaijan Green Party Chairman: Independence Best Achievement Of Islamic Revolution

Baku, Feb 6, IRNA – Azerbaijan Green Party Chairman Mais Gulaliyev said establishment of democracy, respecting rights of people and independence of country were among the most important achievements of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. In an exclusive interview with IRNA on Monday, he outlined the influence of the Islamic Revolution both in internal and international arenas and said the victory of the 1979 Revolution in Iran provided an answer to the demands of the Iranian nation and also influenced the whole region. He said the recent developments in Arab countries were inspired by the Islamic Republic and Iran's economic progress has greatly affected the entire region. Gulaliyev further stressed that despite the attempts of hegemonic powers to deny Iran’s progress, Tehran has been able to foil all plots and threats against it in the past three decades./end
