Larijani: Bahrain, Not A Bite To Be Easily Swallowed

Tehran, May 15, IRNA - Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Monday that Bahrain is not a bite to be easily swallowed and definitely the plan to unify Bahrain and Saudi Arabia would leave negative effects and consequences. Addressing the open session of the Majlis, lawmaker from Zahedan Hossein Ali Shahriari said ex-Shah's regime's treason led to separation of Bahrain from Iran, but if anything new would happen in connection with Bahrain, it would be Iran's right to decide about Bahrain and not Saudi Arabia. Answering to the lawmaker, Larijani said "We should encounter the conspiracies of Saudi and Bahraini rulers and if Bahrian is supposed to be integrated into another country, it must be Iran and not Saudi Arabia./end
