Iran’s Exports To Kazakhstan To Increase Fourfold

Gorgan, May 23, IRNA – Following the commissioning of Khajeh-Nafas Port in Golestan province, Iran’s exports to Kazakhstan will increase fourfold, said head of the provincial Chamber of Commerce. In a meeting the Kazakh Ambassador to Iran, Hamid Damghani, he added that his province is ready to export fruits and other goods such as dairies, poultry, potato, cement, pipes and plastic products, clothes and fauna. Voicing the province’s readiness for cooperation in the field of health tourism, he also pointed out the province can assume a leading rome in the field, thanks to its medical facilities. Damghani also voiced readiness for exporting commodities such as wheat, barley, iron ingots, oil and petrochemical products. Baghdad Amriyov, for his part, said that Golestan province can serve as a partner for other countries, in addition to Kazakhstan. Stating that Kazkhstan can be a good market for Iranian goods, he underlined the need to increase exports and trade exchanges./end
